Best first-hour route
Anime Expeditions combines banner summons, unit progression, and wave-based tower defense. The fastest start comes from collecting guaranteed rewards before spending Gems and then building a balanced team instead of chasing rarity immediately.
- Redeem
AE#1,RELEASE,EA, andEA+if eligible. - Open the Events menu and start the True Saint Beginner Path.
- Use Beginner Banner tickets before spending large amounts of Gems.
- Build a team with an opener, area damage, boss damage, control or support, and economy.
- Start Story and complete first clears and star objectives.
- Level the small group of units used in most successful teams.
- Check unit quests and evolution recipes before farming random materials.
Beginner Path first
The Beginner Path introduces summoning, unit management, and core progression while awarding account resources and Beginner Banner tickets. Treat it as the tutorial route: completing it first reduces wasted Gems and unlocks better early roster options.
Build a functional team

Place the cheapest dependable unit first. Upgrade the unit doing most of the work before filling the map with low-upgrade placements. Keep support within range of the carry it is meant to improve.
Banner and Gem rules
- Spend free Beginner Banner tickets first.
- Open the Rates panel and verify the current pool and pity before using Gems.
- Save Trait Crystals for a unit likely to remain in the main team.
- Do not chase a perfect trait on a temporary unit.
- Stop summoning when the current team already covers opening waves, groups, and bosses.
Daily progression checklist
- Claim Calendar and login rewards.
- Complete daily and weekly quests.
- Clear new Story acts and star objectives.
- Check unit quests for evolution items.
- Use Challenges, Mastery, Expeditions, and raids for targeted materials as they unlock.
- Review the live event and Battle Pass panels before choosing a farm.
